No Hidden Details, No Surprises
We don’t hide important information in small print. Freecords T&C's are upfront and clear, without confusing legal language. Artists can trust they know all they need to know.
Anti-AI Policy
Since October 1st, 2024, we’ve banned AI-generated music on our platform and we will never use our users' uploads for AI training – it’s in the T&C's. This protects artists from losing out on royalties to automated music and shows our commitment to respecting creativity. Unlike other distributors, we refuse to dilute the royalty pool by distributing AI-generated content just to make money on distribution.
Your Rights, Your Music
We believe artists should have full control. Our T&C's ensure artists own their music and have the final say in its distribution and use. We won’t quietly slap on mechanical rights fees on your uploads like some other distributors do.
